The Element Collection is carved from salvaged Douglas fir selected for exceptional grain patterns, knots, mineral streaks and burl, color variation, and checks and splits. Our wood is sourced through a Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) prescribed fuel-reduction plan and sections abandoned by timber operations. Each Element Collection piece is derived from a single monolithic base, preserving the material’s scale, density, and sculptural mass.
Nathan Majeski and Near Net-Zero Studio Craftsmanship
Nathan Majeski designs and builds the Element Collection with a dedicated team of artisan craftspeople in a near net-zero studio. Each design begins in collective discussion, then is hand-carved into form. Every piece is one-of-one, with natural aging that develops individual surface character over time.

Stone support sourced from our local quarry featuring unique old material that is highly variable in color—ranging from aqua to rich wine tones—with striking quartz veining. These stones reflect the diverse metamorphic geology of the Northern California forests.
